This year’s conference began with a welcome reception on Monday evening, March 5th and continued Tuesday when the entire group loaded a bus for a site visit to Southwest Gas. Roxann DelVecchio of Southwest Gas did an outstanding job organizing the tours through their premier facility in Las Vegas.
Your BSUA Board of Directors also brought in several guest speakers for the conference. Phyllis Meyerson, Vice President, ECCHO, served on a panel along with Vicky Nelson from Southern California Edison to speak about ARC/Check 21/Image Exchange. Harvey Spencer, Harvey Spencer and Associates, brought industry news in the document and payment processing environments. Pamela Garrett, Garrett Consulting, reviewed the findings of the BSUA-sponsored Benchmarking study.
In addition, BancTec hosted a RoundTable session in which attendees viewed demonstrations of BancTec's newest products. John Fox demonstrated all the latest updates to PayCourier. IB Hasan showed Web-Enabled Interactive Lockbox. Sue Barnhill demonstrated our newest offerings: Document Imaging and Archive and BancTec's AP solution. Terry Holash was also on hand to answer any questions about Service on BancTec and other equipment.
